Improving driving behaviour

During 2008, G4S Finland piloted Sensior, a driving usage and behaviour monitoring system, at one of its major branches. The pilot project aimed to improve driving behaviour, lower fuel consumption and decrease the number of vehicle accidents.

Vehicles equipped with the Sensior system are monitored in real time, allowing management to assess their employees’ driving standards, praising good behaviour and redressing bad habits.

The introduction of Sensior helped G4S Finland to reduce its fuel consumption by 8.5% during 2008 and achieve a 27% reduction in the number of at-fault accidents.

A study is now underway to look at the viability of driver-behaviour monitoring systems across our whole Cash Solutions fleet.
